Promising Words from Dev.

I wanted to give everyone a heads up on what's comming down in DCUO from the dev team and staff.

Clearly they are working hard to reslove the problems and made a few statments which got me thinking a little. You can find the whole topic here at the offical DCUO PS3 forums.

With this morning's server restart we made some changes in the server configurations and I want to get some info about the effect. These configuration changes were meant to address the "stuck in loading screen" problems, or "Loading Screen of Death" for the more ominous minded. Specifically what I am looking for is:


Did you encounter the Loading screen hang after 6:00 AM PST today where the activity widget is spinning but you do not successfully zone?
If you did could you provide character name, server, and time (with appropriate time zone).

The number of Out of Memory crashes reported have fallen dramatically and we are now able to zero in on other issues that are effecting fewer people but are still happening a lot more than we want. We know that players are still having problems and we will not stop until we have addressed them all. Thanks for you help in tracking these problems down.

We are definitely still seeing crashes, just not nearly as many. We are definitely still working hard on those problems and will be putting out hotfixes as soon as we can.

I know we have had some problems with the game but as i've stated many times before we are seeing a true dedication at this point to resloving the problems. I have faith the solution will present itself soon and hope that all of you in Explosive Force continue to support DCUO

That post sounds like they have almost fixed it totaly. I would say they have lowered the freeze per hour rate by maybe 10%. The Watchtower is still a death trap if you stay in it too long. The biggest problem I have seen is that people freezing up on bosses seems to be as bad if not worse that it was before. Have you tried to do outer recently? Its like they gave the boss a random 1 shot move that you cant rally from.
